About this game

Crazy Cattle 3D is a physics battle royale where you play a sheep and the only goal is to be the last one standing. You charge around the arena, ram rival sheep off the map or into explosions, and try very hard not to get flattened yourself. It's silly, chaotic and very easy to play just one more round.

Made by another developer and hosted on Brainlag.

How to play

Pick a map from the world map and you're dropped into a flock of rival sheep. Hold W to charge forward, steer with A and D, and back off with S. Your sheep has real weight and momentum, so you need a run-up to hit hard, and turning at full speed takes room.

Every map has its own setting and hazards. There's a countryside map with stone farmhouses, an icy Russian level and an Egyptian desert with pyramids and palm trees, and the arenas are dotted with explosive barrels and mines that send sheep flying.

Knock out the competition until you're the only sheep left to win the round. Between rounds you can head back to the world map, visit the Trophy Room or tweak the options. Space sounds your horn, which is a very loud baa.

Tips

  • Speed is your weapon. A sheep at full charge sends a slow one flying, so avoid getting caught standing still in the middle of a crowd.
  • Let the flock thin itself out early. Hang around the edge of the action, then move in and pick off whoever survives the first big scramble.
  • Use the hazards. Steering a rival into an explosive barrel or a mine does the work for you, as long as you peel away before it goes off.
  • Keep away from the map edge unless someone is chasing you there; a well-timed sidestep can send your pursuer over instead.
  • On the icy map, start your turns earlier than feels natural. There's less grip, and a late turn turns into a long slide.

FAQ

Can I play on a phone or Chromebook?

It needs a keyboard, and it's a heavy 3D game of around 80 MB, so a computer or a Chromebook with a keyboard is the way to go. Phones and tablets aren't supported here.

Is it multiplayer?

No. The other sheep are computer-controlled, so you can start a round any time without waiting for other players.

How do I win more rounds?

Pick your fights. Avoid big pile-ups early, keep your speed up so you're never a sitting target, and save your full-speed charges for sheep that are slow, turning or near a hazard.
