About this game
Gunspin turns recoil into a way of flying. You fire a gun that spins through the air, every shot kicks it in the opposite direction, and the aim is to keep it airborne and travelling for as many metres as you can. It is silly, physical and very satisfying when a long chain of shots comes off.
Made by another developer and hosted on Brainlag. This game also connects to: Unity (game engine services), Minijuegos (game portal).
How to play
Click or tap to fire. Each shot pushes the gun away from where the barrel is pointing, so firing while the muzzle faces down and backwards sends it up and forward, while a shot at the wrong moment slams it toward the ground. The gun keeps spinning between shots, which means timing matters more than speed.
You start each run with a limited number of bullets, and ammo boxes along the way refill them. Once you are out of bullets the gun drops back to the ground and the run ends. Your distance is shown in metres, and you earn coins to spend between runs on upgrades for bullets, bullet power and ammo boxes, plus new guns that unlock as you progress.

Tips
- Wait for the spin. Fire when the barrel is pointing down and slightly behind you; one well-timed shot gains more than three rushed ones.
- Treat ammo boxes as your route. Steering toward the next box is more important than chasing height, because a refill is what keeps the run alive.
- Spend early coins on bullets before anything else. More shots per run means more chances to reach boxes, which snowballs into longer flights.
- Bullet power is the next best buy. A stronger kick makes each correct shot count for more distance and helps you recover after a bad bounce.
- Try each new gun when you unlock it. They fire and kick differently, and one that suits your timing can add a lot to your best distance.
FAQ
Does Gunspin save my progress?
Yes, your coins, upgrades and unlocked guns are kept in this browser between visits. Clearing site data or switching device starts you over.
Can I play on a phone or Chromebook?
Yes. It is a one-tap game, so it works on phones and tablets with your finger and on a Chromebook with a mouse or touchpad. It needs WebGL, which all current browsers support.
How do I go further?
Upgrade bullets first, then bullet power, and focus on reaching ammo boxes rather than climbing high. Most long runs come from steady, well-timed shots that keep the gun near the boxes.
