About this game
Hole io makes you a hole in the ground roaming a city, and anything small enough to fall in, falls in. Start by swallowing fire hydrants and people, keep growing until cars and trees drop through, and finish by gulping down whole buildings and rival holes.
Made by another developer and hosted on Brainlag. This game also connects to: Unity (game engine services), GameAnalytics.
How to play
Steer your hole around the map and pass under objects that fit inside it. Each one you swallow adds points and makes the hole a little wider, which lets you take on bigger objects. A hole can also eat a smaller hole, so other holes are both a threat and a meal.
There are three solo modes. Classic is a timed round where the goal is the best score before the clock runs out. Battle is a last-hole-standing fight: get eaten and you are out, so the aim is to be the last one left. Solo Run takes rivals away and asks you to eat 100% of the map within 2 minutes.
The other holes in these modes are run by the game. Every round earns experience that ranks you up, and you can unlock skins for your hole, including an animal-themed Zoo Escape set, as well as pick a colour and a nickname.

Tips
- Clear the small stuff first. Sidewalks full of people, benches and bins grow you fastest early on, while trying for a car too soon just wastes time circling it.
- Stay away from bigger holes until you clearly outsize them. Getting eaten in Battle ends your round on the spot.
- In Classic, move in sweeping lines down streets rather than zig-zagging. Every second spent over empty road is a second not scoring.
- In Solo Run, follow a pattern, block by block, so you do not leave scattered items behind. Hunting for the last few objects across the map is what usually runs the clock out.
- Watch for rivals that are about to outgrow you. If one is close to your size, either eat it now or move to another part of the map.
FAQ
Does it save my progress?
Yes. Your rank, unlocked skins, nickname and best scores are kept in this browser. Clearing site data or switching device starts you from scratch.
Can I play on a phone or Chromebook?
Yes. Drag on the screen to steer on a phone or tablet, and use the mouse or trackpad on a Chromebook or computer.
Are the other holes real players?
Not in Classic, Battle or Solo Run. Your rivals are controlled by the game, so a round starts right away with no waiting for other people.
