About this game

Ragdoll Hit is a physics fighting game where two floppy stickmen duel with oversized weapons. Your fighter wobbles and stumbles like a real ragdoll, so landing a clean hit feels great, and getting flattened by a lucky swing is half the fun.

Made by another developer and hosted on Brainlag.

How to play

Each level is a one-on-one fight. You steer your stickman and the weapon swings with the momentum of the body, so the way you move is what lands the blow. The game's prompts teach the rest: move up to jump, move down to kick, and press and hold to grab. On a computer you can also use the keyboard for jumping and kicking.

Levels get tougher as you go, and boss fights turn up along the way, including one at level 10. Bosses carry their own weapons and a health bar of their own, with names like the Crone and the Decapitator.

Winning fights earns coins that you spend in the shop on new skins and weapons, from katanas and machetes to maces, axes and hammers. Some weapons can be tried out before you buy them.

Tips

  • Keep your fighter moving. A ragdoll standing still barely hurts anyone, while sweeping movements build the momentum that turns a swing into a knockout.
  • Use kicks when an opponent gets too close for a proper swing. Pushing them away gives you room to wind up again.
  • Weapon length matters. Long weapons let you hit from a safer distance, while heavy ones like hammers and axes are slower to bring round.
  • Study a boss for a moment before charging in. Learn how far its weapon reaches, then step in right after it swings.
  • Use the try option in the shop before spending coins, so you know a weapon suits how you fight.

FAQ

Does it save my progress?

Yes. Your level progress, coins and purchases are kept in your browser's local storage, in this browser only. Clearing site data or playing on another device starts you from the beginning.

Can I play on a phone or tablet?

Yes. It has touch controls for phones and tablets, with on-screen prompts showing how to jump, kick and grab, and it also works with a mouse on a computer.

How do I beat a boss?

Patience. Bosses hit hard and have a lot of health, so wait for an opening, strike while their weapon is out of position, then back off. A longer weapon from the shop can make the early bosses much easier.
