About this game

Slope 2 sends a ball rolling down an endless track that keeps getting faster. You only steer left and right, but the path twists, narrows and drops away under you, so every run turns into a test of nerve. Runs rarely last more than a couple of minutes, which makes it ideal for a quick reset.

Made by another developer and hosted on Brainlag. This game also connects to: Unity (game engine services).

How to play

The ball rolls forward on its own and picks up speed the longer you survive. Your job is to keep it on the track and away from obstacles. Roll off the edge or crash and the run is over.

Your score is the distance you cover, and the game keeps your best distance so you always have a number to beat. Along the way you can pick up diamonds. They are the game's currency: spend them in the shop to unlock new balls and buy power-ups, or use them to continue a run after a crash.

There are three power-ups. Magnet pulls nearby diamonds toward you, Shield protects you from a hit, and x2 doubles what you collect for a while. After you use one, it needs time to recharge before it can be used again.

Tips

  • Make small taps instead of holding a direction. The ball carries momentum, and long presses are the most common way to slide straight off the edge.
  • Look further down the track than feels natural. At high speed you need to start moving before an obstacle reaches the ball, not when it does.
  • Stay near the middle of the track when you can. It leaves you room to dodge either way when the path suddenly shifts.
  • Save Shield for the later, faster part of a run. Early on you can dodge most things yourself, and a single saved crash is worth far more at high speed.
  • Use Magnet or x2 on stretches where you see lots of diamonds, so you can unlock new balls and keep a reserve for continues.

FAQ

Does it save my progress?

Yes. Your best distance, diamonds and unlocked balls are stored in this browser's storage. Clearing site data or using another device starts you from zero.

Can I play on a phone or tablet?

Yes. Touch the left or right side of the screen to steer. On a laptop or Chromebook, use the arrow keys or A and D.

Is there an end?

No. The track goes on forever and only gets faster, so the challenge is to roll further than your previous best.
