About this game

Time Shooter 2 is a first-person shooter built around one idea: time only moves when you move. Stand still and bullets hang in the air; take a step and the whole room comes back to life. That turns every firefight into a small puzzle about where to step and when to pull the trigger.

Made by another developer and hosted on Brainlag. This game also connects to: Yandex Metrica.

How to play

Each level drops you into a room full of enemies armed with pistols, shotguns, automatic rifles or melee weapons. Take them all out to clear the level. The tutorial shows you the basics: take a gun, shoot enemies, punch when you need to, and throw a weapon at an enemy once it's out of ammo.

Because the clock follows your movement, you can pause in place to read the room, line up a shot or watch where incoming bullets are heading before you step out of their path. Rushing is what gets you hit, so slow, deliberate moves usually win.

Some rewards last for a single level, such as endless bullets or a shield, and the maps have explosive barrels and gas tanks you can use to your advantage.

Tips

  • Stop whenever you need to think. With you standing still, time slows to a crawl, so you can find every enemy and every bullet before you act.
  • Shoot explosive barrels and gas tanks when enemies stand near them; one shot can clear a group that would otherwise surround you.
  • An empty gun is still useful. Throw it at the nearest enemy instead of walking into range with nothing in your hands.
  • Shotguns are deadly up close but take time to reload, so pick your moment and don't fire at targets across the room.
  • If aiming feels twitchy or sluggish, change the mouse sensitivity in the settings before blaming your reflexes.

FAQ

Can I play on a phone or Chromebook?

You need a keyboard and mouse, since you move with WASD and aim with the mouse. A Chromebook with a mouse works fine, but phones and tablets aren't supported here.

Why does everything slow down when I stop?

That's the core mechanic. Time only runs at full speed while you move, so standing still gives you a near-frozen moment to plan your next step.

How do I get past a level I keep failing?

Restart and move less. Clear the closest threat first, grab a gun quickly, then take one step at a time and stop to check for bullets after each one. Use the environment, especially explosive barrels, to thin out crowds.
