About this paper

College ruled paper has lines 9/32 inch (7.1 mm) apart, a little tighter than wide ruled, so you fit more notes on a page. It is the default for high school and university notebooks in the US.

Printing it right

  • In the print dialog, set the scale to 100% or Actual size. Fit to page shrinks the page and the spacing with it.
  • Choose the same paper size in the print dialog as on this page, A4 or US Letter.
  • Turn off headers and footers in the print dialog if your browser adds a date or web address.
  • The PDF keeps every line as a vector, so it stays sharp at any zoom and prints the same on any printer.
