About this paper

Narrow ruled paper, also called medium-narrow, has lines 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) apart. It packs the most lines onto a page, which suits small handwriting, lecture notes and maths working.

Printing it right

  • In the print dialog, set the scale to 100% or Actual size. Fit to page shrinks the page and the spacing with it.
  • Choose the same paper size in the print dialog as on this page, A4 or US Letter.
  • Turn off headers and footers in the print dialog if your browser adds a date or web address.
  • The PDF keeps every line as a vector, so it stays sharp at any zoom and prints the same on any printer.
