How to use it

  1. Type the subject, the paper name, the exam date and the topics, one per line, then press Add exam and plan.
  2. Each topic gets Recall, Practice and spaced Review sessions before the exam; Shaky topics also get a Learn session and more reviews.
  3. Do today's sessions. Start 25 min opens the focus timer with the session as its task; Flashcards and Notes open the right deck or note.
  4. Tick a session when it is done and say how it went: Shaky, OK or Confident. The rest of the plan changes to match.
  5. Pick your study days and how many 25-minute blocks a day you have. If it does not all fit, the planner tells you how many sessions are left over.

TipBe honest with the ratings. A topic you keep avoiding is usually Shaky, and that is exactly where the extra reviews help.

About this tool

Revision Schedule builds a day-by-day study plan for all your exams at once. Each topic gets a first learning session followed by spaced reviews before the exam, with extra reviews for the topics you find hardest.

Tips

  • Split big topics into smaller ones. Genetics is hard to finish in one sitting; Punnett squares is not.
  • Use the Notes and Make deck links beside each topic to write a summary or build flashcards, then test yourself in review sessions instead of just rereading.
  • Start early. With fewer study days than topics, several topics have to share the same day.

FAQ

How are the reviews spaced?
After a topic's first learning session, reviews follow at growing gaps: roughly 1, 2, 4 and 7 days later for Shaky topics, 1, 3 and 7 days for OK, and one review about 3 days later for Confident. When the exam is close, reviews move to the next study day available.
Is my revision plan saved?
Yes. Your exams, topics and ticked sessions are stored in this browser's local storage on this device. Nothing is uploaded unless you sign in to an optional free Brainlag account, which syncs it across your devices. Clearing your browser data deletes the plan.
Can I change the plan after making it?
Yes. Change a confidence rating or tick a topic as done, then press Rebuild plan. Finished sessions are kept and the rest is planned again from today. The X on an exam removes it along with its sessions.
