Ornaments and terms
What the small signs and words in a printed extract tell the player: the ornaments and how each one is played, and the performance directions in Italian, French and German, with the marks printed on the notes.
Start with Ornaments, recognised and written out. In 18 minutes you will be able to name a trill, a turn, an upper mordent, a lower mordent, an appoggiatura and an acciaccatura from the sign.
