Melody, rhythm and form
Questions 4 and 5 ask about the shape of the music as well as its chords: the metre and rhythm of an extract, its phrases and where its melody peaks, and the forms longer pieces take.
Start with Rhythm and metre in a score. In 12 minutes you will be able to describe a time signature as simple or compound, duple, triple or quadruple.
